Welcome to the blog!

Hello and welcome to our first blog post!

We’ve been caring for the woodland since March 2024 and first met her in December 2023.

Our first and most important promise was to not change anything for the first year and we have stuck to that. Learning all her hidden secrets and behaviours has been a fantastic experience and yes we do anthropomorphise her, naff but true.

Seeing her move from naked winter into lush summer was enchanting and now as we approach full autumn we are preparing to complete the full wheel of the first year.
